On December 3rd and 4th, 2025, the Spectra-BREAST consortium gathered in Rotterdam for a productive two-daymeeting hosted by RiverD International BV. The event saw 13 participants joining in person, with additional partners attending remotely.
During the month-12 meeting, the consortium reflected on the progress made in the first 12 months of the project, reviewing the milestones achieved and the challenges overcome. The discussions focused on the ongoing work and preparations for the upcoming Review Meeting in January 2026, which will assess the project’s advancements and set the stage for the next phase.
The participants had the opportunity to visit the RiverD facilities, gaining valuable insights into the cutting-edge technologies supporting the project’s objectives. The collaboration between partners is proving to be a key strength in pushing forward innovative solutions in multimodal hyperspectral imaging and Raman spectroscopy for breast cancer treatment.
The Spectra-BREAST project is supported by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme, and the meeting served as an essential step in ensuring the project’s successful execution and long-term impact on breast cancer care.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses toward its next significant milestones!
